#TheSix is coming. @JemeleHill and @MichaelSmith are taking over the 6 p.m. ET SportsCenter one week from today. pic.twitter.com/kTUtnI5Fvt— SportsCenter (@SportsCenter) January 30, 2017
Ouuuu boy. This looks hard to watch. This looks like something my mom would put together to show that she is "hip." We already know that Jemele Hill is a token race-baiter. Smith and Hill said that this show would be primarily focused around their points of view and they aren't just going to "stick to sports." This is different from the normal Sports Center model primarily revolves around clips and game recaps. Something, just something tells me this is going to be some very very rough TV. I've seem about two minutes of His & Hers and like the Le Batard show, Mike and Mike, and the Bomani Jones show, it was hot hot hot garbage. I don't think that it will be as bad as the Dan Le Batard show where he has his father speak in an accent in a feeble attempt make everyone laugh (and then call you racist if you say anything regarding his accent), but it is going to be bad.@SportsCenter @jemelehill @michaelsmith Just call it by its new name. Cancelled. Why does ESPBLM keep giving them shows. Oh wait....— Kevin N (@SaintsMan4life) January 30, 2017
Side note, who knew my blog would mainly turn into me ripping ESPN for something on a weekly basis? Oh well. Pageviews show that it is truly what the people want. People do not like ESPN. The responses to the tweet eviscerated the promo. I'm guessing there is a lot of unsubscribing still to come in ESPN's future:
